Hey everyone!! I'm back from JJC ORIENTATION CAMP 2011 :):):) It was a great and worthwhile time spent with all my groupmates and everyone i met there! I think the GLs and Planning Com are Oh-So-Awesome!! Really enjoyed it. It got me all hyped up for the next 2 years of my life. I also met 3 girlies whom i have been spending every minute of the last 3 days with, LITERALLY!

The one holding onto me is Amalina, followed by Charlene, then Jeslyn and lastly Danielle, our OGL :)

This is JJC's 2011 OG-18 PIRATES!!!! (Yes our clan tee colour is RED RED RED RED RED!!) My groupmates are really nice tho we aren't that close.......... BUT WE HAD HELL LOADS OF FUN TOGETHER!! (Ok sorry my English is real bad right now--- cant think straight----too tired) The Cheerings, Wet Games and JJ night was exciting and heartpumping like BOOM BOOM POW-OW-OW.

I'm really glad i met new friends :) :D ;) ;D

Anyway Its the first day of Chinese New Year tmrw and...... I'm flying off to Japan @ night!!! :):)

First off I would like to thank my parents for making this trip so amazing and spending their $$$ on me for the 5 days and 4 nights. It was an eye opening experience and it has taught me many things about travelling. Thank You both and I love you ♥

Oh yes, we didnt stay in a hotel when we were in Tai pei. We stayed in Howard Suites @ NanJing East road. Its a service apartment.. but it was only meant for 2 people(supposed to be my dad & I only) so i ended up sleeping on the couch BUT IT WAS EVEN BIGGER THAN MY BED SO IT WAS COMFY :):):) There was an electric stove.. KBS WORLD CHANNEL.. a nice bathroom and excellent staff. The breakfast buffet was healthy and yummy. & Its even cheaper than most of the Hotels in Taipei!! The MRT is a 5 mins walk away from the apartment and its very convenient. I would sure confirm plus chop chop go back there if i ever go Taiwan again :) ( They even give Hersheys kisses!!)

"Jia" means Home!! :)

The whole trip was nice and we spent 3 nights in Tai pei and 1 in Kaohsiung. We bought 7 pairs of shoes and 5 bags. The shoes cost and average of SGD$22 and they were mostly boots for my family for our coming Japan trip in February. The people in Taiwan are also awfully courteous and they aren't nasty and impolite at all! They also keep to one side regardless of the situation unlike some Singaporeans who stare at you when you do that :/ I guess it was due to the different upbringing and culture.. Oh yes, their toilets are MUCH cleaner than Singapore's. I really have no idea how Singapore got her Clean and Green City name. Green yes.. Clean.. Hmm Maybe not?!?

Unlike our own. Now i know why many people sleep in the train.. our posters ARE TOOO BORING. SO YOU CANT BLAME PEOPLE WHEN THEY SLEEP AND ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE UP THEIR SEATS!!

ok kidding hahaha.

The food wasn't an issue unlike some other countries and the smelly tofu smelt like terriyaki chicken to me. HAHAHA.

The Hello Kitty Shop was also a new experience but there was a minimum spending of NT$300 per person. It's quite worth it tho i wont go back there again.

Anyway, The trip was fruitful and I really enjoyed it :):):)

HELLO 2011!!!!

Marina Barrage with these 4 awesome muack muack people last year/a few hours ago/yesterday for countdown 2011!! The excitement of counting 10..9..8......1 .....HAPPY NEW YEAR is priceless so is the perfect company. We 'picnic-ed' on wet grass and disposable tablecloth while watching 'The American Wedding' (we were wondering whether a whole group of chee ko peks would suddenly gather behind us and watch it together) until katy's lappy ran out of batt.. So Georgina came shortly after with Double Cheeseburgers and McChickens while we cocked about crap and sang to the live music by bands there. The people beside us even gave us some sparkles as they went "spread the love, spread the love!!" HOW NICE!!!! Well maybe its just because its new year. but hey, a little kindness goes a long way ;)

I'm gonna fly off to Taiwan in less than 8 hours and i'm not even in bed. Neither are my things that i need tmrw in my bag. HAHHAAHAHAH.First day of new year already so disorganized. Haiyo!! Whatever kk. Anyway.. I'm gonna write my top 10 er no 5 resolutions. Maybe if i have ten i fill up the rest when i'm back. Meanwhile..

Ho Ho Ho Merry Derry Berry Rainy Christmas everyone!!

Had an awesome Christmas Celebration with Blue, Georgina and Brandon last night, tho some freakish cheenish people ruined it on Orchard road. I'm sorry i havent been updating this space as often!! Cos i've been working until the sun sets for 4 DAYS!! I'm finally off tmrw then back to the awesome working time at CK TANG orchard with the most nicest people(or adults) I have ever met! Working is a chore without them.. with them, time flies like its the end of the world. Blue & I both work on the same floor and we always visit each other at the counters, hehee ^^ SO LOVING RIGHT♥ I even saw Nat Ho today(DAMN GOOD LOOKING ;))

The next two pix are from last tuesday, when i met blue for Rapunzel, Udders and Blue cookies @ West Mall. Oh, Brandon came to meet us cos he just ended work and we went to relive lower-sec days by taking NEOPRINTS. HAHAHA.

Ok, so i spent the whole of yesterday watching Korean shows until 4 plus. Then i decided to pack my room till around 6. Dinner at 7 and went back to sleep till 11 plus. Replied some messages and dozed back off to sleep and woke up at 10 plus this morning. I have no idea why i sleep so much!! ): ): Sleep too much also complain, sleep too little also complain. Hahaha. kidding ;) Anyway i'm starting work on the 10th! and Sentosa with RC7 Vikings tmrw!! ;);)

And.. The TV finally arrived!! If you did not know my house TV broke down 2-3weeks(?) ago. So Dad bought one at SITEX fair last Friday. I kept bugging them to buy LG/Samsung cos its from Korea. Well mainly LG cos SNSD did the Chocolate advertisement. Hehehe.This TV comes with WIFI. but i have no idea how to use that. ._.

The title of my post is the line my dearest baby girl used more than 10 times on a 20 min bus journey home.

This post is for all the girls in the world who have had boyfriends who didn't appreciate them for who they are, who made use of girls' feelings to verbally, physically and emotionally manipulate them and then climb all over their heads. Or guys who have had girlfriends like that.

This post is purely based on my own opinion, thoughts and SOME previous experiences. If you feel offended, please kindly click the little X on the top right corner of your screen or go away to the next blog or something, if not, make yourself at home.

Here it goes..

Guys who want 24/7 -- What the hell is wrong with them?! Do they not realise that girls need a social life.There are days when ANY RANDOM PERSON ON THE STREET WOULD WANT AN "ALONE" day to do their own stuff like going out to shop on their own, to go to a random toilet to pee, to look at people walk past on the street while sipping down Latte, Cappuccino, Kopi-O etc. Yes, It is considerate for the guy to not want his girlfriend to be alone. However sometimes i feel this is a symptom of being over-possessive.
--- If you get what I mean.

Partners who do not allow their girlfriends/boyfriends to hang out with their other friends -- UNLESS THEIR FRIENDS ARE BAD INFLUENCE/ constantly being assholes. If you're a guy/girl and you're jealous that your girlfriend/boyfriend has other girlfriends/boyfriends, THAT'S JUST LAME.

FOR THE GIRLS :

Your girlfriend needs her girlfriends to complain about your over-possessive nonsense.
She needs people who will understand the feeling of having cramps once a month.
She needs someone who is actually willing to give their honest opinions about shopping(some boyfriends can do that, i agree).
She needs girls who knows the feeling of actually WEARING A BRA.
Accept this -- She needs someone who understands her better and deeper than you.

These are 5 reasons in your pathetic face why girls, need their girls.

Guys/girls who don't keep their promises or use the lines "I will change"/"This won't happen again"/ "Sorry baby" TOO OFTEN. -- If you say something, mean it. (applies to both genders, i know of guys who have had girls like that and vice versa- my heart goes out to all of you.)
You break the promise, you fix it. Some times we are being nice just because we don't want to make a big deal out of it. So think again if you think your partner makes a big fuss out of everything. We tolerate broken promises, the never-fulfilled-dates, the late comings, the stand ups, the jealousy, the insecurity shit BECAUSE WE BLOODY LOVE YOU, not because we want some rewards or whatever.

And for goodness sake, RELATIONSHIP IS A COMPROMISE.
If you're not gonna give and take, what are you gonna do? Shit and eat your shit? or shit and kick your shit? Your partner is there for you to love, care, do crazy things, and most importantly, appreciate. He/she isn't there to help you clean your bullshit and wipe your stinky ass. I know everyone has their own moments of nonsense and sometimes we have to understand. This is the part about giving and NOT expecting anything in return.
If all you do is just TAKE and talk bollocks about yourself GIVING, YOU seriously need to do something about yourself. Because what you're doing is living in self denial -- that pretty much ruins you.

One last thing, its either keep it or break it.
You either keep a realtionship or break it. You dont spam your love one's in-box with messages of wanting to fix it when its already broken. Second chances do exist, that is only if you're worth it. The next time you go irritating someone for a second chance you should do a self check, maybe its not us not wanting to give you a second chance, but maybe because we have already gave you two thousand chances and you barely noticed. If you want something, fight for it. Anyone can do vacuum talk. Easier said than done.

To all the broken hearts out there, its up to how you wanna fix your heart. You don't need to go back to your ex or find a substitute. We all know that there's no such thing as a substitute for love, the special someone will always hold a special place in your heart. Over time when you meet someone new, that person will stand a bigger surface area and even "eat" into your ex's territory, but the spot where they used to stand will always remain there. Don't let your past get into your future.

to my dearest BAMY girl: I'll always be here for you. Don't be too hard on yourself. I know what it feels like to go through what you are going through now. Please stay strong, you deserve much better. We all love you sweetie :)

Days spent shop-walk-chit-chatting.

Went to Expo MEGA Flea with GeorgeorgeorGINA after her Jap class yesterday. We gave up walking Far East. She managed to get a maxi and a pair of heels and some other accessories all under $50 i think. Good buys! ;) We waited for my bro and Brandon to finish work and headed to Changi Airport for POPEYES' for dinner/supper. Stupid sex jokes kept us entertained. We missed the last train and took a cab home from Changi and it cost us $53.10. HAHAHA. The day was well spent and fun with the company of these awesome people!

I headed down town again with MY FAVOURITE BLUEEEEEEE today. Havent seen her since last wednesday. We went to Peninsula to get her jeans and ION to get my shoes and some snacks. Curry puffs and Doughnuts make an awfully lovely combination, not forgetting the company of a lover. ;* I made home around 9 when i boarded the bus around 7.30. Try peak hour traffic. Mad congested but it lengthens the time on the bus. So it gives me time to think. I've sorted out my thoughts.

so.. YAYNESS ;):)!!

Gonna head out with Theng, Yuan and Jamie tmrw. Cant wait cant wait cant wait. This is the beauty of finishing Os :)

Since I've been gone since my last post.. I've had the most awesome days ever. Prom was sexciting, RWS stay with family, Vaunt 5 with Blue, Brandon and Dingchao and Red camp with the oh-so-horny HILLGROVE VIKINGS. Its been a blast.. and now that its over.. I'm sick. My voice sounds like some chipmunk la wth!!

Blue, Theng and Lydia came over to my place to prepare for Prom. Mammeh did our hair and make up. Then we all became like super-uber-good looking hehe. Prom was nice but a little boring cos almost everyone did a video for class presentation. But whatever, the last 30-45 mins of prom WAS NICE cos everyone was dancing on the red carpet! :D

I spent one night in RWSentosa last sat (20th) with my Family plus my Grandparents. Dad booked a suite in Hotel Michael (some "6-star" hotel which i think wasn't worth the six stars). But i managed to soak in the bathtub while my siblings hit the hotel gym. The bathroom in the hotel almost the size of my room ._. I managed to go swimming at Hard Rock Hotel and met some friends whom i havent seen in a long time there. Fancy seeing them there! hahaha. Oh yes, i managed to get a tan.. but its so uneven ): We managed to walk around the entire resort and the place is just amazing. It feels like we weren't in Singapore or something. Thank you Dad for booking the suite :):):)

Vaunt 5 with Blue, Brandon and Faizuli without Jo ): Ding Chao joined us for his virgin experience! hahahaha. Had a good time tho. Wished Terenjit and Darren were there! We went to drink before dancing and managed to cab home around 4 am to prepare for Red Camp 7 @ NP the next day!

Red camp day 1-day3 was awesomely great with the Hillgrove vikings! (V) I have to say we bonded more in 3 days than in 4 years OMG RIGHT haha! Bunch of horny people eg Wenliang who went on and on about GRINDING. The 3 days ended with Hop Nite! Who knew people like Rouying, Georgina, Soufong, Sharmain, Gary, WeiZheng, Kum Teng, Wen Liang, JiaSheng, Lay Jun and everyone else could dance like that?!?!?!?!? ALL PARTY ANIMALS LA!

Any-O-how. My last week has been a blast and I'm looking forward to more parties since Os are OVER!!!

O levels are finally over! I cant really feel the difference of before or after Os. Maybe its because i have already began enjoying before Os. Ok, everything has been great so far~ hehe. St. James with Baoxuan and Jo the other night, surprisingly met many people like Bing Xun & Co. and Terejit, Fazuli and Darren there. AWESOMEZXCXSZ time ;D

Home at 7am the following morning and left for West Coast Park @ 8.30!(Didnt have any sleep~) Filmed class video and went home for Team BBQ! (LOVELOVELOVE) It started raining halfway so we went back up to my place to cook the food. apparently the food cooked and tasted nicer ._. The girls stayed a little longer until some left and only Yuan, Jamie and Theng stayed to chat play and love.

Grad Night is on Friday and met up with Qi En to town to get her shoes!! Quite a fruitful day! :):)

Social Studies paper yesterday and Venice came out!! I took the risk of studying Governance without Healthcare and it almost killed me. But once again, who studies the rise of Venice and not fall? Ok la anyhow bomb bomb bomb and i think i did ok for SEQ. heh. apparently not for SBQ.. well. whatever (Y) Spent the remaining of the day with Mama as we went F21 shopping (maxi dresses hehehehe.) Ended the day @ Changi with dad.

Spent today with Celine and Dou @ orchard. went for our interviews(most likely ok beh) and walked around ION abit. Great day :):):)

Ended the day @ Min Yuan's place watching SHINee & SNSD MVs. heh best ;) Apparently Min Hui thinks i use concealer but i dont. Proud-of-the-good-genes-i-have-from-my-mum feeling now :)

Sometimes I wish you actually think about what you say before you actually say it. I have a countless list of the things I love you for and only 1 which actually repels me from you -- Hypocrisy. I have always blamed myself for being not good enough until one person told me it wasn't my fault. Maybe it really isn't, but i guess enough is enough. I still love you, my dearest friend.

I really hate how someone is able to go into your mind and manipulate all your thoughts. Making you from confidence 100% to a pathetic zero. Or making you feel like as thou you're falling down a bottomless pit. Its depressing, really. Apparently i think its alright for others to put you down as long as you don't put yourself down.

Its a weird theory all together tho its worth the thought.

Today marks the first day of me being 16. and honestly, if everyday was today, i wouldn't mind. However, life has taught me that we can't always get what we want. I also very lucky to have met people from Hillgrove Secondary who have played very important roles in my life. They still are.

Knowing I had Amath P1, she woke up from her sleep at 2 that morning to find the chicken stew recipe somewhere-in-the-big-chunk-of-recipe-folders. Then she went back to sleep and woke up around 6+ to cook chicken stew for me before the exam. However.. i forgot to tell her i wasnt having lunch at home. Went to Esplanade for a S.N.Y.O performance with my brother and his friends on the 30th (Farah was performing) :) Nice people with a great sense of humour. I cant believe that Joshua actually tricked me for half the time that he was a teacher.. and i actually believed it. reached home at 11.45pm last night, was pretty much dead by the time i washed up and went to bed.

My day today ended at 7.30 pm after Mac dinner with yinchoon.

shereen has to consider healthier options for any other meal instead of mac, kfc, pizza hut or anymore fast food. I need healthy food like raisin and nuts. HAHA. JUST KIDDING.

Okay, for now, i need to watch my SNSD, wash up, then hit the sheets. I'm too tired and my chest hurts too much to do anything else.. Sigh.

I went to work at Mhotel today, to stand in for my sister cos she didnt want to go and almost got scared to death when dustbin said he wanted to accompany me to work. The people there weren't exactly the type you'd want to make friends with except a few. But the couple that got married sang their way into the ballroom while entering. (so sweet!)

Everything else was fine except for spilling a whole tray of drinks, pouring coke on myself, struggling to hold the dishes, serving the shark's fin, fish and noodles, the worst part was that both of my shoe soles fell off. To round it up, i screwed up. (Congratulations Shereen, worst-part-time-waitress of the year award goes to you.)

Anyway, went to 313 @ somerset with my sis after work. It was damn tired cos i had to go to the toilet to digest my food halfway throughout dinner. Cine afterthat, managed to semi-decide what to get for mama's day this year.

Okay. Its late. & I've gotta hit my bed and strawberry shortcake blanket my brother has been trying to steal. (pictures next time!)

haha. apologies for the small photo. Maybe when i get my camera i'll take a nicer one. I'm no longer gonna get Fujiflim z33wp as my brother decided its not worth its cost. So i'll be getting something else. Till then, the picture quality will be quite bad unless i grab the photos from mandy's baby in FB or someone else's camera (: (So please, be understanding, much appreciated C: )

Talking about cameras, my mum, sister and brother were at Harvey Norman on sunday. I wanted to take a look at my baby on the shelf but the salesgirl went to take out a nikon one -- which of course my family preferred. I was pretty persistent on getting my z33wp until my brother told me he didnt like it at all. (Dang, didn't see that one coming) They were both the same price however the Nikon ISO was better than Fujiflim's. She thus took out another Nikon model -- pricing at $400+, and showed it to me. The specs' was much much better than both earlier models. But the price was double.

And my brother was like "This is much better. Get this. I'm paying half anyway."

I was like.. "Its too expensive.. No."

He was like.. "Get it if you want it. Up to you."

okay, all in all, my point is:

Day out with My mum and my sister today. Had an awesome time finding food to eat while walking past closed shops, ended up enjoying HotPot at some Japanese fast food restaurant. Ended of today by jumping queue at a taxi stand. (hahaha, the taxi was going woodlands so we just took the liberty of boarding it without waiting for anyone to respond to the situation)/

Now, i'm home. With the fragrant smell of home boiled soup rushing up my nostrils and listening to my brother and the keyboard sound as well as the laughter of my mum and sister while watchig tv. I just love it when everyone's home <3

Today.

30th january was spent studying and shopping with my sister. I was obsessed with the pretty and unique clothes as much as i was with incredibly high prices that some other customers were willing to pay for. (which certainly wasn't worth it). We caught The Toothfairy at GV Marina after dinner. I must say the duck rice and duck U-mian we had was awesomely fragrant and yummy (2 Thumbs-Up!). The movie was great too(funny!).
