Welcome To Taiwan 1st Jan-5th Jan

First off I would like to thank my parents for making this trip so amazing and spending their $$$ on me for the 5 days and 4 nights. It was an eye opening experience and it has taught me many things about travelling. Thank You both and I love you ♥

My dad and I @ Changi Airport
Mum, Dad and I. (yes my siblings didnt go..)

See the little white things on the window? Its snow!! ( Really Really I was super excited!!)

No wonder Singapore Sunset cannot make it.. Tai Wan's was awesome! (this was around 5 plus in the evening tho)

My mum and I in the cab on the way to our.. service apartment.

Tai Pei 101!! This was on the 89th floor. My cammy is supa lousy in low light so i didnt manage to take nice pix of Taiwan from 101! ):

The place where we bought the tix.

My loving parents. ♥

Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows @ Agnes B cafe!!

Their Single trip 'ticket'!

In the MRT!

Free and easy Shopping~ the beauty of not following tour!!
We managed to find a shop that sells alot of beauty stuff(nail buff nail polish etc etc fake eyelash) at wholesale prices!! :)

The people in taiwan really love their.. erm, Dogs.
So they dress their dogs and treat them like their own kids.. Amazing. I know!!

My mum looks younger than me in this pic!

STARBUCKS FOR BLUE!!! :)

Mister Donut!

Free flow of Haagen Daz @ One buffet bbq restaurant in Xi men ding.

SNSD !!!!

Pretty Fruits!

Their Fried chicken @ Wu Fen Pu. like Singapore's Bugis Street!
Wu Fen Pu is the place where many online bloggers get their stocks etc. or at least that's what i heard from many shop owners there :)

@ Kaoh Siung High Speed Rail (HSR)

So cute right?! :)

Tai Wan Airport!

Home Home Home!! (While Boarding! :))

Oh yes, we didnt stay in a hotel when we were in Tai pei. We stayed in Howard Suites @ NanJing East road. Its a service apartment.. but it was only meant for 2 people(supposed to be my dad & I only) so i ended up sleeping on the couch BUT IT WAS EVEN BIGGER THAN MY BED SO IT WAS COMFY :):):) There was an electric stove.. KBS WORLD CHANNEL.. a nice bathroom and excellent staff. The breakfast buffet was healthy and yummy. & Its even cheaper than most of the Hotels in Taipei!! The MRT is a 5 mins walk away from the apartment and its very convenient. I would sure confirm plus chop chop go back there if i ever go Taiwan again :) ( They even give Hersheys kisses!!)

"Jia" means Home!! :)

The whole trip was nice and we spent 3 nights in Tai pei and 1 in Kaohsiung. We bought 7 pairs of shoes and 5 bags. The shoes cost and average of SGD$22 and they were mostly boots for my family for our coming Japan trip in February. The people in Taiwan are also awfully courteous and they aren't nasty and impolite at all! They also keep to one side regardless of the situation unlike some Singaporeans who stare at you when you do that :/ I guess it was due to the different upbringing and culture.. Oh yes, their toilets are MUCH cleaner than Singapore's. I really have no idea how Singapore got her Clean and Green City name. Green yes.. Clean.. Hmm Maybe not?!?

This was inside their MRT. Super cute & Heartwarming!
Unlike our own. Now i know why many people sleep in the train.. our posters ARE TOOO BORING. SO YOU CANT BLAME PEOPLE WHEN THEY SLEEP AND ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE UP THEIR SEATS!!
ok kidding hahaha.

The food wasn't an issue unlike some other countries and the smelly tofu smelt like terriyaki chicken to me. HAHAHA.
The Hello Kitty Shop was also a new experience but there was a minimum spending of NT$300 per person. It's quite worth it tho i wont go back there again.
Anyway, The trip was fruitful and I really enjoyed it :):):)
Thankyou mommeh and daddeh♥

Meanwhile.. O level results will be out in a few hours... SO...

All the Best everyone! ;D
